Choosing a patient from the Task List takes the reviewer to the Patient Review Screen. The far left of this screen displays the Patient History including previous visits or previous reviews for the current inpatient visit. On this screen, the reviewer can access the appropriate criteria for reviewing the patient, apply a Reason code if the patient is non-qualified, apply Quality and Delay codes if a patient is qualified, refer the patient to a PA or the Attending Physician and even set the date for the next patient review.
